Welcome to Pig Apple Farm!
We are a family run farm in the Hill Country of Texas. With a lifelong love of trees, we dreamed of having land and space for growing an orchard. Eventually the dream became a reality, and in 2023, we moved onto a 12 acre farm just north of San Antonio.
We had already been nursing over one hundred baby apple trees in pots and eagerly got them into the ground. Shortly after we embarked on our orchard, we added some Idaho Pasture Pigs to see how that grow out process would go.
After successfully harvesting our first round of bacon, we began looking toward the future of acquiring breeding stock. In the Spring of 2025, we acquired Kunekunes and began breeding our own bacon makers and compost generators.
Thus, Pig Apple Farm was born!
While our family and farm have many other things going on, it all began with those two simple ideas: apples and pigs.
Join us on this journey to regenerate this land through rotational grazing, create a more nutritious and sustainable food source for our family and community, and give our children the opportunity to grow through life-giving work.
